Overview
This project was completed in an Integrated Capstone class, combining the expertise of two business students and two New Media Production & Design students. We collaborated with the Regal Cat Café, located in Calgary's Kensington district, to gain real-world industry experience.
Services: content creation, business management, graphic design, and event poster design. I served as the lead graphic designer, content creator and project manager for this project.
I designed 3 event posters for the cafe shop. The left one is for the 'Kitty Paint Night' event happens a few times every month. The middle one is for the 'Cat & Yoga' event, and the right one is for the Adoption Day event.
Unique Solutions: I created most of the poster designs using Procreate and Photoshop, incorporating digitally hand-sketched elements. This approach aimed to create a friendly and adorable atmosphere, fitting for a cat café, with vibrant yet neutral colours that are visually pleasing.
I also created 4 cat profile posters that were used to highlight the key information about cats that were available for adoption at the cafe at the time that this post was created. The poster showcases their name, gender, and age. The purpose of the post was to promote the cat's adoption into their forever home via social media (Instagram).
Challenges: One of the main challenges was understanding the client's needs and determining how we could best support them. Our focus was on increasing engagement and interaction on their social media platforms and raising awareness of their services, including cat adoption and various events.

The first reel was created to showcase the cats' moments in the cafe environment.

The secondary reel was created to show a few facts about the cafe and its services. Spreading cool information on social media platforms helps to attract more customers and followers.

Goals: Our primary goal was to enhance the Regal Cat Café's online presence through compelling and engaging content. We aimed to foster a stronger community engagement and attract more visitors to the café.
Outcome: Our team successfully presented our work to professional industry members, instructors, and fellow students. The project not only helped us develop our skills but also provided valuable experience in client collaboration and project management.

The third reel was created to promote their merchandise at the store.
